LovAI ("LovAI", "we", "us" or "our") provides an AI companionship application where you can chat, receive photos and match with AI characters (the "Service"). This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. By using the Service you agree to the practices described here.

1. Who this policy applies to

The Service is intended solely for adults aged 18 or older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If we learn that we have collected data from a minor, we will delete it. See also our Terms of Service.

2. Information we collect

Account information — such as an account identifier, email address (if provided) and authentication details. LovAI may be used with an anonymous account.
Profile & persona — the persona, preferences and settings you configure to personalize your experience.
Content you create — messages you send, interactions with AI characters (matches, swipes, gifts) and other in-app activity.
Purchase information — records of virtual items ("Roses"), subscriptions ("LovAI Pro") and transaction identifiers. Payment card details are handled by the app stores, not by us.
Device & usage data — device type, operating system, app version, language, and diagnostic or crash information used to operate and improve the Service.

3. How we use your information

To provide, personalize and maintain the Service, including generating AI conversations and content.
To process purchases and manage subscriptions.
To keep the Service safe, prevent abuse and enforce our Terms.
To respond to your support requests.
To analyze usage and improve features and reliability.
To comply with legal obligations.

4. AI processing of your conversations

Conversations and related content are processed by artificial intelligence systems, which may include trusted third-party AI providers, in order to generate responses and media. Characters are AI-generated and are not real people. We may use aggregated or de-identified data to improve the quality and safety of the Service.

5. Purchases and app stores

Purchases and subscriptions are processed through the Apple App Store and Google Play and, where applicable, a subscription-management provider (such as RevenueCat) that helps us validate and manage entitlements. These providers process transaction data under their own privacy policies. We do not receive or store your full payment card number.

6. How we share information

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only:

With service providers who process data on our behalf (e.g., hosting, AI processing, analytics, subscription management), under appropriate confidentiality obligations.
To comply with the law, a legal request, or to protect the rights, safety and property of our users and LovAI.
In connection with a merger, acquisition or sale of assets, subject to this policy.

7. Data retention

We keep your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service, comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes and enforce our agreements. When data is no longer needed, we delete or anonymize it.

8. Your rights and choices

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete or export your personal data, and to object to or restrict certain processing. You can delete your account and associated data at any time from within the app, or by contacting us at support@lovai.folia.cool.

9. Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information. However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

10. International transfers

Your information may be processed in countries other than your own. Where required, we take steps to ensure your data receives an adequate level of protection.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date above and, where appropriate, provide additional notice.
